I started Camp Caring in June of 2017 as a senior high school project to gain credits for my child care pathway. For the past five years I have been able to provide unforgettable memories to the special education population in the Garrett county public school system. While that has been a great starting point,  I’m excited to announce that we will be expanding Camp caring for the 2023 year.  With the help of Russ and Jessica Dijak at Solnet, I have decided to incorporate Camp Caring and start a 501(c)3. Our new board members have been hard at work planning and organizing this summers curriculum. Stay tuned, camp dates will be announced soon.
